2. General information about the apps

CrateQuest is a mobile box-pushing puzzle game. Hammer Toss is a mobile skill and arcade game. No registration is required. Both apps contain no advertising and currently use no proprietary tracking or analytics tools.

3. Ad-free operation

CrateQuest and Hammer Toss contain no banner ads, video ads or advertising networks. The waiting period in Hammer Toss after the free throws have been used is part of the game system and not an advertisement.

4. Visiting this website

When this website is accessed, the hosting provider may process technical access data, including IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type and operating system.

Hosting provider: Cloudflare, Inc.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure and stable provision of this website.

5. Cookies, tracking and external services

This website currently uses no cookies, analytics tools such as Google Analytics, advertising networks, social media plugins or externally loaded Google Fonts.

6. Contact by email

When you contact support by email, the sender address, message content and any voluntarily provided information are processed to answer the request.

7. Local app data

CrateQuest may store game progress, settings, completed levels and unlocked content locally on the device. CrateQuest does not use Game Center. Hammer Toss may store settings, local high scores and other data required for gameplay locally on the device.

8. Apple Game Center in Hammer Toss

Only Hammer Toss uses Apple Game Center for leaderboards, achievements and an asynchronous multiplayer mode. Players may compete against stored results from other players without needing to be online at the same time.

Use of these functions is optional and requires the user to be signed in to Game Center on the device. When Game Center is used, Apple processes the data required for these services under its own responsibility. This may include the Game Center nickname, a player identifier, achievements, leaderboard entries, match results and information relating to multiplayer games.

The controller receives only the information required to provide the respective Game Center function within Hammer Toss. This information is not used for advertising and is not combined with proprietary user profiles.

9. In-app purchases and Apple App Store

Both apps may offer optional in-app purchases. CrateQuest may offer additional worlds or content. Hammer Toss may offer additional throws without waiting for the free full refill after 30 minutes. Payments are processed exclusively by Apple. Complete payment data is not transmitted to the controller.

10. TestFlight and App Store ratings

When using Apple TestFlight or submitting an App Store rating, the associated data processing is carried out by Apple.

11. Retention and rights

Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for its purpose or as required by law. Data subjects have rights under the GDPR, including access, rectification, deletion, restriction, portability and objection.

12. Right to complain

Data subjects may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

13. Changes

This privacy policy will be updated if app functions, services or legal requirements change.
