Controller

The controller responsible for data processing in connection with this website and the apps CrateQuest, Hammer Toss and Puzzli Kids is Marcel Masuhr, trading as masomas, Voßhöfener Str. 82, 58300 Wetter, Germany. Principles shared by the apps

No registration is required to use our games. The apps contain no advertising networks and use no third-party analytics or tracking services. Depending on the app, only data required for gameplay is stored locally on the device.

Apple App Store, in-app purchases and TestFlight

App downloads, optional in-app purchases, restoring purchases and the use of TestFlight are handled by Apple. Apple processes the data required for these services under its own responsibility. Complete payment data is not transmitted to us. Data relating to App Store ratings is also processed by Apple.

Hosting and access data

This website is provided using services supplied by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare may act as a processor and process technical access data, including the IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type and operating system. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, fast and stable provision of the website and protection against abusive access. Technical access data is processed only for as long as necessary for these purposes; the specific period depends on the Cloudflare service used and its configuration.

Cloudflare is a global company based in the United States. Processing outside the European Economic Area therefore cannot be ruled out. According to Cloudflare, transfers from the EEA to the United States are based on its certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where required, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Cookies and external services

This website uses no cookies, analytics tools such as Google Analytics, advertising networks, social-media plugins or externally loaded Google Fonts.

Contact by email

When you contact us by email, we process your sender address, message content and any voluntarily provided information to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the request relates to entering into or performing a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in handling enquiries. The information is deleted after the request has been fully handled unless statutory retention obligations apply. Please do not send information that is not required to handle your request.

CrateQuest

Local game data

CrateQuest may store game progress, settings, completed levels and unlocked content locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to us for analytics or advertising purposes.

Game Center and purchases

CrateQuest does not use Game Center. Additional worlds or content may optionally be unlocked through the Apple App Store. Payments are processed exclusively by Apple.

Hammer Toss

Local game data

Hammer Toss may store settings, local high scores and other data required for gameplay locally on your device.

Apple Game Center, leaderboards and multiplayer

Hammer Toss uses Apple Game Center for global leaderboards, achievements and asynchronous multiplayer. If you are signed in to Game Center and use these functions, Apple may process your Game Center nickname, a player identifier, game scores, leaderboard entries, achievements, match results and information relating to multiplayer games.

Game Center functions are optional. Hammer Toss does not operate its own leaderboard server and does not use Game Center data for advertising or proprietary tracking. Apple processes the data required for Game Center under its own responsibility. Further information is available in Apple’s Game Center & Privacy notice.

Optional in-app purchases

Additional throws may optionally be purchased through the Apple App Store. Alternatively, free throws return after the waiting period shown in the game. Payments are processed exclusively by Apple.

Puzzli Kids

Photos stay on the device.Puzzli Kids does not transmit your pictures to us or any third party and does not use them for analytics, tracking or advertising.

No data collection or sharing

Puzzli Kids contains no analytics or tracking services, no third-party SDKs, and no advertising. The app does not collect or transmit user or device data and does not share any data with third parties. No user account is required.

Photo library and camera

After your explicit permission, Puzzli Kids can access the photo library or camera. This access is used only to select or take a picture for a personal puzzle. You can change the permission at any time in the iOS or iPadOS settings.

Local processing and deletion

The selected picture is processed for the puzzle and stored only locally in the app. App preferences and status information required for use are also stored only locally on the device. Personal puzzle pictures can be deleted at any time in the protected Parents’ Area. Other locally stored data is removed when the app is deleted.

Device and iCloud backups

Depending on your iOS or iPadOS settings, locally stored app data may be included in a device or iCloud backup. This backup function is provided by Apple and can be managed in the system settings.

Child-friendly use

Puzzli Kids does not use Game Center and contains no in-app purchases. Settings, external links, and rating and sharing functions are protected by a parental gate.

GDPR

Retention and your rights

Retention

Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for its purpose or as required by law. Personal pictures in Puzzli Kids remain stored until they are deleted in the Parents’ Area or together with the app. App preferences and other local status information remain stored until they are reset or the app is deleted. Possible device and iCloud backups are governed by Apple’s settings and retention rules.

Data-subject rights

Under the GDPR, you have rights including access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, portability and objection. To exercise your rights, contact [email protected].

Right to complain

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority.

Changes

We update this privacy policy if app functions, services used or legal requirements change.
